Assignment # 21

This assignment was used as a practice before we began assignment 22. We learned how to use the different shapes using Google Sketch Up a new editing program introduced this marking period. I also used a drawing tool to draw my name in a geometric style.

  Assignment #22-12

for assignment 22 we used the application called Google sketch-up to create building block images. Using specific dimensions given we were able to create dynamic images. As you go from assignment #22-1 to assignment #22-12 it becomes harder and harder to complete the assignment. All the images were exported to a 2D graphic and also in an ISO view.

Ms. Wang gave each student one dimension figure to create which would be counted as a quiz I was given #9. This one was probably the easiest out of all the choices I completed the assignment within minutes of it being given to me. We used the same Google sketch-up application.

Assignment # 23

This assignment was used as a Christmas special. We chose a ginger bread house from Google images. My ginger bread house was created using Google sketch-up. This assignment we were given the opportunity to create something from our imagination but still using our gingerbread from Google images as a reference.

Assignment #24

This assignment we just needed to place the gingerbread house on a background and make the house appear in a 3D view.

Assignment # 25

For this assignment we needed to create a power button using Photoshop and similar tools as before like the blending options the button was created. To get the button to flash on and off we created it into an animation  repeated over and over. Each slide is 1 sec long and were combined to create the on and off power button.

What is GIF? - GIF is a format on Photoshop for compressing image files.
How does Animation work? The animator uses a computer to generate a sequence of still images, that give the illusion of motion through three dimensional space when you play them.

Assignment #26

For this assignment we used photoshop to create a showroom for a showcase. Using blending options and gradients the showroom was first created then the lights were done also using blending options. At the end i chose to use high heels as my showcase.

2nd marking period

For this assignment we wre asked to create our own design on an solid color dress. I chose to use an African print for my design. After choosing my print and copying it onto the dress i used opacity to make the dress look more real. The dress was chosen from google and so was the African print.

For this assignment we were asked to create an add similar to that of the Food Bank, this poster was only used for educational purposes. I decided to take a non healthy but delicious cake and switch it up into a fruit and vegetable cake that is more healhier.

For this Assignment we were asked to create a Jack O'Lantern for Halloween. This image was created with the use of the magnetic laso and various types of blending options to give the pumpkin the inner glow as though a candle was lit on the inside. It takes a lot of pateince to do each of the carved out pieces but it was finally achieved.

For this assignment  we were asked to create to a face displacement using a flag and a face picture of ourself. I chose the Ghanaian flag. The face displacement was created using many different blending tools like Filter-Distort-Displace,  Opacity of 80%, and  Filter-Blur-Gaussian Blur. The flag displacement on the brock wall was a tuturoial assignment in order to familiarize ourself with how to complete the assignment.

During this assignment we used motiin blur to create a fast moving image. I chose a picture of a train, with the use of the motion blur this image of he train looks as though its going faster then the orignal, this is done by increasing the intensity of the blur, then finally bringing out the image of the train so that it can be the focal point of the image.

For this ssignment we were asked to take an original image from the internet and create any desired effect on the image. I chose to change the eyes of the model. My favorite color is green so I chose to chose to chnage the color of her eyes to green, then with opacity I made the eyes look more realistic.

 For this assignment we edited a picture of ourself using soft filtering tools. This tool helped in softening the image and giving it a nice glow. This type of editing is similar to that of the many editing sites online used by social media users for instagram and facebook. The tool also helped in giving the skin tone a nice glow.

ASSIGNMENT # 19 

This assignment was completed using different shapes, gradients, and strokes to create our own unique flash drive. This assignment was completed using Adobe illustrator. 

ASSIGNMENT # 20

This assingment was also a test we used a whole new program called Adobe Illustrator to create this unique phone. This was a very complicated assignment to complete mainly because it was a new program and the steps were very long and hard to complete, but the overall learning experience was worth it.
